An email said that the USPS is issuing a new stamp, on which is written EID greetings in English, and something in Arabic.

The communication I received asked the following questions, and I was wondering what to answer.

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of PanAm Flight 103!?

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993!

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the Marine Barracks in Lebanon!

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the military barracks in Saudi Arabia! ?

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the American Embassies in Africa! ?

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the USS COLE?

REMEMBER the MUSLIM attack on 9/11/2001!

REMEMBER all the AMERICAN lives that were lost in those vicious MUSLIM attacks! ?

Now the United States Postal Service REMEMBERS and HONORS the EID MUSLIM holiday season with a commemorative first class Holiday postage stamp.

REMEMBER to adamantly and vocally BOYCOTT this stamp when purchasing your stamps at the post office.
The communication closes with
“To use this stamp would be a slap in the face to all those AMERICANS who died at the hands of those whom this stamp honors.

“REMEMBER to pass this along to every patriotic American you know!”

So, how shall I respond?
The stamp is indeed discussed on Snopes, but it is NOT a hoax.

Snopes says, “The U.S. Postal Service issued its Eid stamp commemorating the Muslim holidays Eid al-Fitr (marking the end of Ramadan) and Eid al-Adha (marking the end of the pilgrimage to Mecca) on September 1, 2001 as part of its multicultural Holiday Celebrations series. It was evidently the reissuing of this popular postage stamp one year later in October 2002 — barely a month after the first anniversary of the terrorist attacks of 9/11 — that prompted this angry email protest.”
The only problem is that this stamp is not new, but has been issued for six or seven years already.

***CHRISTMAS STAMPS***

How ironic is this ??

They don’t even believe in Christ and they’re getting their own Christmas stamp, but don’t dream of posting the ten commandments on federal property?

USPS New Stamp

This one is impossible to believe. Scroll down for the text.

If there is only one thing you forward today…..let it be this!

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of Pan Am Flight 103!

When purchasing your stamps at the post office. To use this stamp would be a slap in the face to all those AMERICANS who died at the hands of those whom this stamp honors.
” there were people who worked in the Trade Center who were Muslim are people going to say they deserved it and then say they are true Christians?”
I’m sorry but I am not trying to start a gripe fest I just believe that people ALL people should live and love and do to others as you WOULD HAVE THEM do unto you, not do to others as you deem should be done.

And I am an Native American

Rephrasing my comment “GOD never judges anyone” I meant that as a does he judge you for your religion or if you have done good or bad stuff throughout your life, unlike most of us who judge people because of what others have done in the name of religion,so their -for they are the same because they have the same religion. and the Indian comment was just an example, my children range from white, mexican, and indian and I am raising a pakistani boy so I am not holding a grudge just pointing out the fact that just because someone has a certain religion and does a very horrific deed does not mean someone of the same religion deserves to be put in as of same character and be punished for it. and its just a stamp, its not there for the person or people who committed those acts against us. I guess my comment about the fwd. message was said wrong. And before anyone makes a judgment against me taking up for terrorists,I have 3 relatives fighting over seas “AND PROUD OF!”
