Syria or Lebanon for vacation ?

lebanon vacation
ẶŇĞĘŁ asked:

Hello Lebanese people….

I’m planning to take a vacation to Syria for a week or so, and while I was planning and budgeting a friend of mine told me that I would be crazy if I went to Syria instead of Lebanon and I’m missing a lot of the fun, so he got me thinking again.

Now seriously, do advice me what will I miss and also is Lebanon much more expensive than Syria ?

Thanks.
BTW how many Kates is there ? lol

    Try and visit Lebanon!
I actually went to Lebanon for 10 days last May and I loved it there.
The people were wonderful and very friendly to me even though we have the Bush hysteria going on in the Middle East. They ‘love’ Americans! I felt honored and respected. The environment, the people, and the food are just lovely. For me, it is one of the perfect spot on this earth!
I saw a large three bedroom apartment with two very large balconies. It was really fantastic! In fact, it made me really wanted to sign a lease on the spot (hahaha). Anyway that’s my story… I would love to visit some similar places in the Middle East.

actually, i would advice you to go to Lebanon, as there are more activities than in Syria, about costs, it’s not that much more expensive, like with 30$, you can have 3 meals and you may end up with extra money. the food is unbelievable, and it is said that their food is most balanced between the meals around the world, as you find vegetables and meat and cereals in one meal all together. just make sure you know where to go. try to visit the places where live the poor and middle classes of people, as there happens to exist the best bargains and the best food. there are so many things to see. don’t miss that chance, but when you’re there, ask around to find the best there is. no more hesitations, go for it and enjoy your stay!!!!!!
