the best place to go is Cyprus. you can go their and have a civil marriage that is recognised by almost every country including lebanon.
virtually all in religion marriage in lebanon happens in cyprus

As long as you plan to raise your children Catholic, you can marry in a Catholic Church. He would not have to convert. He will have to go to Pre-Cana classes, just like any couple.

The Quran allows Muslims to marry Jews and Christians. So you should be able to find an Imam that will marry you. My parents were Muslims. My wife is from a European Catholic family. By age 12, my son had read both the Bible and the Quran. We have been happily married for over 20 years. So interfaith marriages can work.

Shouldn’t you talk to him honestly and try to find out what he expects from you as a wife? Things might change drastically after marriage as you two are of different religions and unknowingly may demand things from each other that you two aren’t wired to abide by.

Well, nobody has to convert because a muslim man can maryy a christian woman as long as you agree to raise your kids as muslim. Why don’t you go and visit him for a week get to know him more and then marry. and as soo as you do that you can work on getting him a visa so he can come to Ireland. I am happy for you =)

I don’t think it’s a good idea for a Christian and a Muslim to marry; too many important differences in the expectations of what the woman’s role in marriage will be.

You could get married in a non denominational place, such as a registry office. There are loads in Ireland, it shouldn’t be a problem.
