Which village in Lebanon should I?
Visit for my holiday. Preferably one with beautiful beaches and warm weather…
I think Lebanon is an extremely beautiful country. Do you agree?
Also, i always see people saying horrible stuff about Lebanon… and im just wondering does anyone report them? Because i personally see it as abuse.
*star the question if you agree*
Thanks in advance.
Thanks for everyones answers and opinions!

Hey Lili.
No, this is not my first time to Lebanon but i just wanted people’s opinions on great villages to visit because on my past holidays i only went for a short time, this time its longer and i wanted to some feedback.
I’m from Australia and i agree wat you said about the people who see only the negative side of Lebanon.
Keep Smiling

An opinion question: Christmas gifts for non-Christians?
I’d like to get a few little Christmas presents for the people I work with this year. It’s my first Christmas with this company, so I don’t know what the norm is. I work with a lot of middle Eastern people, from Egypt, Lebanon, Iran, etc. I’m wondering if it would be acceptable or appreciated to give these non-Christian-holiday-celebrating people a Christmas gift. It wouldn’t be Christmas-themed, more like a personalized coffee mug or something like that.
Thoughts?
Do you think the USA will strike Iran on the christian holiday of Good Friday?
What do you think will happen to Lebanon? Do you find it a bit offensive of GW to claim he is a christian(with small letters) while attacking on Good Friday the start of the Catholic and Orthodox Tridium? Oh wait he believes in the evangelical belief that america’s salvation is based on how much we support israel so he is justified ….silly me! Catholics don’t mean anything b/c they are not christian anyway among his group of friends anyway…
My question is based on this article in the JP.

How can we, as Canadians, help people in Lebanon restore democracy and peace without Hezbollah?
Given the conditions in Lebanon, it is tragic but not surprising that there are 800,000 people protesting the government. However, they are doing it in the name of Hezbollah. What can we do to help establish democracy and peace without American interference and without them resorting to support for terrorist groups?
Does anyone know a laid back campground to float the Niangua or Elk River that has late night camping sites?
We are a KC group of about 30 just looking to find a campground to float that isn’t “family oriented” with strictly enforced quiet hours starting at 10 or 11. We want to stay as close as possible which means basically Lebanon (Niangua), Eldrgidge (Little Niangua), Pineville/Noel (Elk/Sugar Creek) areas. The only place I have found is River Ranch Resort but their “late night loop” campground is full. There has to be other late night campgrounds for these rivers right?
Istanbul or Beirut for vacation?
Hey guys,
I am planning my vacation for next spring/summer and this year I want to check out either Turkey or Lebanon. I was wondering which city you guys think is generally better for a vacation? I heard Istanbul has a great nightlife, but how is Beirut’s after the whole Israeli-Hezbollah war and everything else going on there? Also, how is the climate and nature surrounding both cities?
